Steven
Weeks

College President
& Founder

Steven Weeks is a veteran who proudly served our country in the United States Coast Guard.  He was part of the Coast Guard White House Honor Guard during the 1976 Bi-Centennial Celebration in Washington D.C.  Steven received Aviation electronics Certification along with NASA-AMRIP printed circuit board soldering repair training and certification.

After serving our country, Steven earned a Bachelors Degree in Vocational Education, majoring in Workforce and Curriculum Development.  He then became a Professor at Sierra College, in Rocklin, CA.  In 1998 Weeks began consulting in the Electronics Manufacturing world. He was a consultant on the 2nd generation Xbox after some of the first generation boxes developed the infamous “Black Screen of Death.” He was part of the team that constructed, what was at that time, our countries largest Clean Room. Steve continues to consult our industry regarding quality control questions and practices, new hardware designs, and some of the latest practices in the soldering field. He has taught classes for prestigious companies like Aerojet Rocketdyne, Boeing, Intel, SpaceX, Sierra Nevada Corporation and hundreds of other companies both nationally and internationally. Steven is considered one of top leaders in the field of soldering techniques. His vast knowledge of our industry is a valuable asset to the college.

Steven’s reason and focus in founding the college is to “Create the Work Experience” in each and every class taught.  This prepares the student for a smoother transition into the Electronics Manufacturing work environment.
